		<description>How about Biblical references to Jacob and Benjamin and how Benjamin's mother died in childbirth. Also Locke's "dad" said they were in Hell. I think there is some sort of "crossover" that happens when you become an "Other" and that prevents you from aging.

I have to agree that Locke striking out on his own was probably the subtle way to ween us off his character. There is a "big showdown" at the end of every season so far. I can't stand the catchup shows either...what a waste of time.</description>

		<description>Interesting lostpedia entry, and wow...I never even caught that Jacob was visible for a moment. I do wonder if Jacob is the monster, or somehow controls the monster. And in reading the lostpedia page, I noticed that Jacob translates to "James." Which is Sawyer's name. So I wonder if Sawyer is some kind of Jacob opposite. Anyway, I can't imagine the show without Locke! But he is getting more independent and doing his own thing, so maybe it will be his downfall.</description>
