Save “The Unit”
CBS is staying oddly silent about the future of “The Unit.”

So of course we expect the worst. There are no more episodes scheduled to air this spring, and no word yet on if this solid series will be picked up next season. So rather than sit on our thumbs, it’s time to take some action.
Well, not us really, but Scott Miles, the person who started this online petition.

PLEASE Bring Back THE UNIT love the show. The show has everything that a show needs to be entertaining. You are going to cancelled a show that a lot of people watched and enjoyed. Please bring back.

I have never felt this emotionally resilient about any show that I have watched. The Unit is the only show that takes me 90 minutes to watch with my DVR (where I watch others in 40) I stop and rewind it to savor many scenes. Watching the Men and Women of The Unit makes me proud to have served our Great Nation for 23 years. I urge CBS to please bring The Unit back.

CBS OWES it to the American people and the people who proudly served and are serving this country in the Military. It is the only show that somewhat correctly depicts the men and women who serve and those of us who wait for their safe return.

I just left a message at cbs.com pleading with them not to cancel this show. I have been watching this show since day one. It really brings back alot of memories of when I was in the military. The characters are awesome as well as the actors who portray them. I really like Dennis Haysbert in 24 & was sad to see him leave the show but he came back with “The Unit” and he does such a great job with his character. It’s one of the best shows on TV. I am so sick of all the reality shows. Where is the entertainment in those! I get enough reality at home & work. I want to be entertained. Leave “The Unit” in place and let it run for several more seasons. It seems CBS is making a big mistake in letting this show go. We barely got them to bring “Jericho” back & we almost lost “Moonlight” & still may. That’s another issue I will get into later with CBS.

CBS needs to keep the Unit alive as it gives us HOPE! It allows those of us with friends and family in the military to have faith and HOPE in what they are doing and accomplishing when they are all so far away! As an educator, the charactors teach lessons about compassion, emtional control, commitment, honor and so many more. In my graduate courses we discuss the lessons students can learn about life on a personal level and connect with so many of our students. This show needs to continue for more reasons than can be mentioned here. Get with it CBS!

PLEASE find a way to bring back The Unit! Everyone I know loves this show. It is the most accurate military show out. Also, if ANYONE knows how my husband can watch what was aired of season 3.. please help.. he was deployed for the past 16 months and missed ALOT.

It seems to me more often than not, whenever they have a good show they, move it around so often you can’t find it, or cancel it. CBS seems to go more for mind numbing shows with no real actors. Reality, and quiz show seem to be big. I not sure if the are less expensive to produce, or if they are worth watching . Nobody I know admits to watching them. As soon as something like the UNIT comes on you can be sure it will be doomed to good to be true. We can only hope the see the light at the end of the ratings. and lose the losers.

Please save the UNIT! This show is one of the best on T.V. There are too many reality type shows out there and it is only getting worse. Some of them are so stupid. Please think twice about canceling this show. SAVE THE UNIT!!!!

We want to see more of “The Unit” My husband look forward to this show every Tues. evening. It is one of our favorites. This is a very intertaining series. We need more good drama like this. Get rid of those “reality shows” what a joke.

Please return the Unit to Tuesday it is a great show also it followed NCIS which made my night for television.. It made you feel apart of the military and let some people experiance what families feel when the love ones are doing what they do…It is great entertainment for all …

Simply outstanding television. Bring the show back! This is one of the few shows that gives you characters you truely care about. It makes you proud to be an American and easier for people to understand the difficulty in a military life. I haven’e had a show I looked forward to watching all week since the West Wing was cut. This show has more life to it, give the people what they want. I’ve had enough Big Brother!

Bring back the UNIT. You want me to watch crap about swingers in the 70’s and you cancel the UNIT. This is going to be another STar TReck cancellation bone head decision. Bring back the UNIT it was an important show and it help alleviate the fear being felt in this country today

My son is currently serving in the US Army. The Unit is the ONLY program that celebrates the life path my son has chosen.
With all the sex, lying, stealing and crime stuff on television….this program honors those of our country that chose the high road and give back to this wonderful country!
My son is currently deployed on his second tour to Afghanistan. His location is so remote that they have no electricity and no running water. I send him an endless supply of batteries for his DVD player… just so he can watch the episodes of The Unit I send to him. Those programs are passed through out the FOB as all those soldiers can’t wait to see what happens next to Jonas and the boys.
Please do not take away the one program that honors our sons and duaghters that serve our country!!!!!!!

I can only say, WTF???? You leave other mindless drek and schlock on for idiots but here is a series that is truly ENTERTAINING. Remember that word, CBS? Your network use to be ENTERTAINING. Get a grip – don’t cancel THE best television programming on TV. Hell, I’ll go back to PBS. This is an abomination.

CBS this is an insult to all of the vets abroad in our two wars. They look forward to this show. Retirees talk about this show, young and old alike. Your sampling analysis is way off. This show had good number even with it following football late into Sunday night past 10:00PM.
How could you do this show and the vets and americans that are so proud to watch and enjoy this show???
Please bring it back and leave it in one spot. It could rate as high as 24 if you stop moving it. My wife and her female friend 30 year olds love this show
