KTVU-Channel 2’s Dennis Richmond

KTVU-Channel 2 viewers have been anxiously pondering where in the world is anchor Dennis Richmond.

After having surgery to fix some pain Dennis was having in his neck, he’s on the mend and ready to take back the anchor seat. I’m sure if it was up to Dennis, he would have been back the day after surgery.

Dennis is scheduled to be back on the air Wednesday, Oct. 24.

He had been doing better after is surgery about two weeks ago, and was waiting for his doctor to give him the green light to come back on the air.

Needless to say, Richmond’s been chomping at the bit to get back into the anchor chair.

Sorry for the typo above. It should have read “is”, not “it”. I’m tired from watching that long game. Go Red Sox!

i WAS WONDERING WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO HIM! i WAS TELLING MY HUSBAND
THAT i WAS POSITIVE THAT HE WAS BEING FIRED, OR WAS VANISHING LIKE LESLIE.
I AM GLAD DENNIS IS OKAY, AND GLAD THAT HE IS RETURNING.
I AM A LITTLE SURPRISED THAT A MAN CAN BE IN THIS INDUSTRY THIS LONG WHEN IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THERE IS NO WOMAN HIS AGE AS AN ANCHOR FOR A LOCAL NEWS
STATION (EXCEPT MAYBE ISABEL ON KRON, BUT THAT DOES NOT COUNT)
    HOPE DENNIS IS BACK SOON

I’m sorry that Dennis required surgery but I’m glad that he’s better. I am a little concerned however. He was scheduled to return on October 24? That was a week ago. Are there any complications?
By the way…I do like Julie Haener but I still miss Dennis with Elaine Corral.

I am so happy he is doing fine. I was afraid he’d left or was seriously ill. I wish since people ple like Mr. Richmond are in the public would inform the public of his whereabouts when they all of a sudden disapear.

I pray to Almighty God-Jesus Christ for a speedy recovery.

    Bless you Mr. Richmond!

Dennis Richmond… met him at Country Waffles in Dublin. WHat a nice man, but you know
who’s in charge with him. He carries an air of authority.
Word to you posers that want his job: FORGET IT. You cannot ever replace the man, so dont try. They should just cancel the news when he retires.

Debbie: Mark Curtis lost his anchor spot to former L.A. anchor Dave Clark. You can check out the info on the blog. Just enter his name in the search function at the top of the page
